As a techincal manager, “I dress the designs”
Every structure or component part has its own lines and shapes. But it’s bare. My job is to dress it up in something that adds value and brings out its qualities. I identify the appropriate finishes for each single element, taking into account the context and the whole.
Everything needs to be harmonious or interact in some way to create an end result that is coherent and organic, that expresses an idea and a unique, personal style. Together with the team,
the technical manager has to carefully analyse the final result, bearing in mind the customer’s wishes and preferences.
